MemberYou didn’t buy the kazaa “service”. You payed for an ad-free/spyware free program. While you payed for the program, you can’t use it from behind the school network. You will need to go to a legal music service if all file-sharing programs are blocked.

MemberYou might want to consider bit torrent or another alternative way to download stuff illegaly. 😉 They don’t use the same connection method that P2P programs use, and probably aren’t blocked.

MemberAlot of schools have internal Direct Connect hubs, where you can trade files with other students on the network. Very fast and most likely not allowed. But ask around and see what others are using.
Edit: By the way what school is it? I’m not going to snitch lol. Just wondering because your profile says Philly and I know some people who go to school there.

Participantyou might want to check out blubster, its worked for me so far on my school’s network, even when they’ve blocked mostly everything else. one week towards the end of freshman year, my roommate and I tried about 100+ different p2p programs, and found only two that work… blubster we already had, and ares, which seems to work pretty well
