Hi,
Sometime a person would set a high resolution pic as their display pic. Is it possible to download that pic without asking the person to send the pic instead?

You do need an add on yes, you can find a Custom Emoticon and Display Picture “stealer” here.
However, the size of the DP which you steal will only be the size shown in MSN Messenger.

do u know of anything that can download the high res pics? is that possible when the other person is online?
As far as I know you can only get the pictures in the size which they are displayed on MSN Messenger, i.e. the small box size.
Someone else might know of a program though 🙂
The new versions of CE/DP Stealer is spyware. You can get a old version from mess.be that is spyware free. http://www.huuf.net/ is spyware free and works good.

there is such a possibility. for that you would need to have and addon ->msgplus! installed and the plugin for it called stuffplug.not only would you be able to save high quality dps, but also oversized display pictures (you would only be able to view oversized dps if both of you had that addon and plugin installed and enabled)
on the side note, if you do choose to install plus!. pay close attention while installing, to the guidelines ..so that you do not accidentally install the optional sponsor with the progam. (the guidelines are very clear though so no worries)well Darkone, I installed plus and the add-on that u mentioned but still i am unable to download other person’s hi-res display pic.
You can’t download hi-res pics. The only way you can obtain the hi-res pics is by getting the other person to send them.
so i have msgplus and stuffplug, but how do i use them to capture display pics….small size or high quality
