Is there any program out there that is better than Netmeeting, because I want one that works with a contact list. I dont like using IP addresses because they always change. Yahoo messenger open up to many windows and videoconferencing doesnt work for MSN messenger on my computer because I dont have XP.

I wouldn’t necessarily give up on NetMeeting. NM can be configured to allow you to launch from ICQ, MSN Messenger and even AIM. This leverages the contact list(s) you’re comfortable with and frees you from having to keep track of IP addresses.

You don’t need XP for MSN Messenger. Just don’t use the Start Video Conference option but both parties start their webcams and audio seperately. True, it’s not ideal, but according to you neither is NetMeeting 😉

I’m still using ICQ 2000b. Because I think the new ones have ads and stuff. Can netmeeting still be launched, or do I have to use the newer versions of ICQ? Is there just some patch or something I can add to have this feature?
