MemberI didn’t see this posted anywhere, and if its a duplicate, I’m sorry.
As most of you know, Yahoo has removed the ability to change your profile picture. The reason being is they want you to use either 360 or yahoo photo. However there are many people who have neither.
There is still one server which will allow you to upload a picture to your profile.
First sign into yahoo with the name you want to add a picture to.
Then go to this link.
Ourchat Profile Picture Upload Workaround
This has worked for me, however I did have to do it twice before it took hold.

Oh really? Can you provide a link to something official (i.e., from Yahoo, not another user forum site) stating this?

ParticipantOfficial? You honestly think they are going to state something “official” to try and jam garbage down your throat?
MSN already destroyed their profiles with their “live spaces” bull****. It was only a matter of time before Yahoo did it.
Aside from that, I’m still able to change my profile picture without any third party software / links. Perhaps is it because I am using a Canadian account?

I’d rather be privy to Yahoo’s ‘garbage’ than to a rumor started by some clown in a room and passed on as fact. And I believe most here would agree. I see it all the time in the chat rooms. I started the Yahoo Myths & Realities thread just for that reason. So….if Netti would ablidge us with a link, I’ll thank her. If she can’t, then she should edit her post.

ParticipantThe link posted is of a page helping you to change your “official” yahoo profile to a chinese “official” account that is still allowing picture uploads on profiles.
You can use its form from the (newbie) page posted above or you can do it yourself the long way if you know how.
you wanna try other methods you can below..

MemberMfenech,
If yahoo admitted anything, I would have posted it. 😀
There’s no reason to even reply to this post. If you don’t want to change your profile picture, then don’t use the link. Simple as that. Its users choice.
This link was for people who actually wanted to change the picture in their profile, and was having problems.
And as I’ve tried changing my profile picture as well as other people, and it can’t be done other then changing the language, I did use this link, and It did work.
Sorry to tell you, but not everything people type is myth, and I only mention items that I feel will be of interest and help to others. Therefore, I will not edit my post, as it is FACT.
If you honestly think Yahoo is going to tell you everything you want to hear, you have a long long wait.
But for others that are interested. This links is not a third party program. All it does is change your profile language to (I think) korean so you can change the picture then it changes it back.
As detn8r mentioned he can still change it on another server, but others are having no luck on US servers.
But thanks for your interest, and have a nice day.
