Edition #4The story…
I often hear people say that every end is a new beginning, but my life seems like one big bad day that never ends. I feel like I’ve died long ago, but somehow still have to live on. My life is chaos, although most of the chaos is because of things I can do nothing about. I guess I’ll just have to learn to live with it.I also often hear people say that love brings nothing but sorrow, but I’ve cried so many tears I don’t even know anymore what love really is. Love is a mystery to me. I did find out some of the secrets of love, but they are secrets I cannot possibly describe. Love is like a dark, unclear part of my life.
I think I’ll just have to remember the good days and forget the bad if I want to feel better again. My friends are also a great support to me; they’re always there for me. But, love isn’t something I can deny. This misery is entirely my own fault, because I keep falling in love over and over again. It’s something I can’t do anything about – believe me, I tried many times…
Nobody can possibly even begin to understand how hard the last few years have been. If there ever was happiness, I guess it went by too fast for me to notice. I’ve played the game of love and I lost. I can’t stand this feeling, but I know it won’t last forever. One day I’ll look back and laugh, but when?
The nights are dark; the ground I sleep on is cold. It’s like I’m climbing a mountain, but can’t get any higher. I can look down at all the castles I built, but they’re not there anymore. I guess castles made of dust don’t last long anyways. I’m sure I’ll get through this though, because people always say every end is a new beginning.
Anyway, I’m not telling you this because I want to seem like a smart or brilliant guy or whatever. I just wanted to tell you the truth. You see, when you’re dancing on a tight rope and lose your balance, you’re bound to fall. I’ve found out now that even a little breeze can blow me away completely.
So, why don’t you just give me your phone number? If I ever get through this, I’ll give you a call and then we can have a good time together. I’ll let you know when I get out of this mess, ok?
The song…?
Name the title of the song and win!January 22, 2005 at 8:07 pm #112614TigerbladeParticipanti already got my name entered, so i’m not gonna make a guess on this one, but geez Hyperbyte… you seem to be really good at finding the most depressing, sappy songs around… geez. :-p

Have you ever wondered how many songs (out of all songs ever) actually have a depressing meaning? Quite a bit, I can tell you that – but I do have some happier ones lined up also. 😉
