Edition #6The story…
Hey! I need to tell you something. You see, I’ve spent the whole past week trying to write a song for you. I’ve spent days in my room, trying to put some words on paper to sing. I tried to write magical words to put a spell on you. I also tried to write perfect words that you would remember forever… but I just couldn’t find the right words for what I want to say.I needed inspiration, but I couldn’t find any. I listened to some songs, I read some books, but whenever I managed to write some nice rhymes on paper I always thought of you and then I threw them away again. The words I wrote were never enough to say what I really want to say to you. So now I have nothing really, except a floor filled with wrinkled paper.
I was so sure that I would write a beautiful song for you, I even hired a studio to record it in. I thought maybe the words would come when I tried to sing along with a beat, but they didn’t… and the drum machine didn’t know what I could tell you either.
So now that I’m with you I feel like a singer waiting to go on stage. The curtains open and here I am… with nothing, except these few words. It’s not the magical or perfect words I wanted to write, but at least they come from the heart. You see… I adore you. I just adore you!
The song…?
