Because of not being able to check my log history, is there a way of retrieving my past emails? Even though i deleted them?

Frank, if you’re talking about chat logs: I don’t think there’s any way of getting them back once you’ve deleted them. Sorry.
I know this is no help to you now, but maybe in the future you could save your chats and deleted emails to an external hard drive – so you will always have that record, regardless of what happens with the computer.
Also . . . have you asked if your girlfriend keeps the logs? Maybe she could send ’em to ya. Might be a good thing for her to know they mean that much to you.
