Eminem’s New Album Out Today – Encore

Here I am. Just got back from a three hour shopping trip. My review:

Eminem has definitely changed, become a bit more comical here and there. Back in the day of Slim Shady LP he had those angry songs. Now he’s got nothing to base his songs on. There’s a Hailie here and there. The whole Soldier thing is included to. The beats aren’t too good. There does seem to be some of his heart in the songs, but the reason for the songs isn’t clear to me yet. He’s still doing the whole making fun of other celebrities thing. I wasn’t expecting something like this. The repitive stuff is annoying! Listening to more of the songs I found myself nodding to the odd beats. I like this album. He bases some of the songs on his past, as he did in other albums. That’s the best songs that he makes…the one based on his past and full of anger. Okay huge change of opinion here…sweetness. Sweetness. Nice to see a different side to Eminem. Skits are a bit funnier now and Eminem has lightened up with his songs. Most of his anger is gone giving him new things to focus on, and it’s working for me. Funny stuff, good stuff. Definitely still my favorite rapper.

Seems Eminem is becoming more and more involved with politics. Especially with Mosh. So what do you all think? Eminem for president in ’08?
