MemberOk…so your having a few quests over and you can’t decide if you want it a formal dinner or a casual dinner or even maybe a buffet? This time of year so many of us entertain…I say keep things fun always no matter what you decide to do. The quests shouldn’t be the only ones having fun…:D
So if you have a question about this topic, please ask it. I will be entertaining a small dinner party myself this saturday night and will post what I did. Maybe it will give you some ideas…and please if you have any ideas for us we would love to hear about them…;)December 12, 2003 at 9:22 pm #87571tangledlisa
MemberChristmas is always one big eating frenzy buffet style at my parents house. What I always get stumped about is New Year’s entertaining. Going out gets so boring, so any ideas on how to liven things up in a more private setting? Menu, games, etc..

MemberAt my friend’s party, that I go to every year, we usually just have a buffet with like shrimp, crab, pizza(a variety of main dishes) , chips , little sandwiches, a lot of cookies fudge, etc, and pop. entertainment wise, we have the TV on the channel where the party is! And there is music playing somewhere!

MemberI am kinda late on this one…but in case you are planning on a party in the near future, there is a game I liked a lot. It is called “him or her”.
You make two couples stand up, each gf is giving her back to his bf, so they dont see each other´s faces. People ask questions about their daily life, better if they are difficult questions, for example: Who asks for “it” more often?, who gets more presents?, who is more patient?… Each person has a paper with Me on one side and Him or Her on the other side, and should show the audience the answer.
It is really funny to see how they agree or not, and how each member of the couple sees a different reallity of their daily life. Having more that one couple at a time, makes the competition even funnier.
