ParticipantHello Melcika and welcome to BBB! Take a look at this information found on the Messenger Support Space. I think the error you are referring to is the 8100030d error. If this is not the correct code please let me know.
Also, on the main WLM screen, before you even sign in, there is an option to
check service status. Sometimes there is nothing wrong with your machine, and it’s simply a case of a problem with the WLM servers. In which case, you may have to wait it out. Now – that said – I have had issues where it was a WLM server problem, and the service status showed all systems running fine and I still had to wait it out.Let me know if the info on the Messenger Support Space helps or not. Glad you found BBB and we’ll do our best to help you out!

ParticipantWelcome to BBB sicksim! I hope we can help you out, but I’m going to need a little more information first.
Can you tell me what operating system you are using (XP w/sp2 or Vista)? Also, if you go to Control PanelAdministrative ToolsServices can you tell me if your SSDP Discovery is listed as Started and Automatic? And in WLM when you go to ToolsOptionsConnection does it say you are connected to the internet via a UPnP or non-UPnP connection?
In order for voice to work properly in WLM UPnP needs to be enabled. I’d also recomend a complete virus and spyware scan with up to date definitions. Have you been having any other shutdown unexpectedly errors, such as with IE or another browser? Anything else mysterious going on or just WLM?
I’ll do my best to help you, but it may take a wee bit of patience to figure it out.
