Error: Cannot write to file sirenacm.dll

Hi.. I used have msn messenger 7.5 working perfectly fine. I download windows media player 10.0 after which msn messenger would start freezing up. I restored the older version of window media player 9.0 but msn messenger would still freeze up & windows would take forever to boot up. I uninstalled it & everything was fine. Now it won’t install again. Gives the error “Error writing to file:C:WINDOWSsystem32sirenacm.dll:Make sure you have write permission for the folder.”. Installation fails in the end giving out error 1603.

Tried lots of things – cleaning up old files, IE cache, used spybot, ad-ware & tried many other things. Any suggestions? Thanks..
