I keep getting this error message when I try to add a contact to my Yahoo list for Windows Live. She can instant message me from Windows live to yahoo but I can’t add her to my list. Any suggestions?

JulieI’ve had that same error before. Just give it a little time & try again. It’s exactly what it says…a server issue & there’s nothing you can do to fix it. It will resolve itself &d then you will be able to add your contact.
There were widespread YH problems last night, so if that’s when you were trying to do it, you should consider yourself lucky your contact could even reach you!!
If it doesn’t take care of itself let me know.

i am having the same problem,i am trying to add contacts to my boyfriend’s messenger and it jut won’t let me,i read that it will fix by itself but it has been going for two weeks and i need to talk to my boyfriend.my boyfriend is not in the same country,i read somewhere that it could result from the bad internet service overthere,please help me.
If your boyfriend is not in the same country, how are you adding contacts to his messenger list?
What error are you receiving? Does it have an error code? What does it say?
well i used to add contacts to his messenger,that was not the first time,anyway i always do this and because i have his password.it doesn’t have an error code,it just says.i am desesperate.i added his cousin and after that it just keeps saying that.thank you
