Error message

Hey ya’ll. 🙂
I have a quick question. Every once in a while, when I’ve tried to connect to AIM, I get an error message saying: “718: The connection timed out waiting for a valid response from the remote computer.” What exactly does this mean? It’s been doing that since about a week ago. It only happens every so often, but when it does, it drives me buggy.

basically AIM started to connect to the AIM servers, but it only has a certain amount of time that its allowed to take to do so. if it goes past that time amount without being able to connect, you’ll get that message.
