Okay let me see if I can try to explain this so someone can understand me.
I am on DSL and just recently got a new Router.
Well my web camera that I use for a website worked fine on the old router.
I didn’t change any settings in my DSL modem.
So this new router is a LINKSYS. I am NOT connected to it wirelessly.
Here is the error message I get when testing my web camera to see if it can be accessed by the viewers at the website I use it.
Could someone help me configure my router so that it wont interfere with my web camera.
I don’t want my router to have a fire wall on or anything “blocked”… I want it to let my momdem take care of that.
I just want the router to serve ONE purpose and thats to allow others in the home to connect into my dsl.
Please Help
Does my router have a different IP than my Modem? Could that be the problem?
Fixed Problem solved. I had to fix the routers port forwarding.
