MemberI think it only happens when I have my internet explorer window open, but nonetheless… whenever I click the minimize button on AIM, I get a message saying that an error has occured with AIM and it may or may not be because of DeadAim. Then it asks me if I want to save a diagnostic file. I saved a file once, and it saved it to C:DOCUME~1OwnerLOCALS~1TempDeadAim.dmp. The error made no sense to me. The error doesn’t always come up either. Now it doesn’t seem to be happening, but when it does it closes my AIM and I have to restart.

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000c1e2the .dll file is from aim95. I deleted it to see what would happen and it wouldnt let aim load so it probably doesnt play a part in the problem. Have you reinstalled aim?

ParticipantUnistall AIM and DeadAIM both… Then reinstall AIM and then DeadAIM and it should take care of this. Sounds to me like a corrupt AIM or am I just a guessing? Could be but a reinstall fixes many things.

MemberSee, I wasn’t getting this error message with AIM before I got DeadAIM yesterday. I had gotten the new version of AIM a few days ago, and to my knowledge, I wasn’t having a problem. Now, all of a sudden its happening cause of DeadAIM.

MemberIt would still be a good idea to re-install both of them, DeadAIM might have interfered some how with AIM.

MemberThe problem appears to be with the oscarui.dll file. It says the error is in the aim.exe application, but the ModName is oscarui.dll. Is there something wrong or corrupted with that file or something? Is there somewhere I can go to replace it or fix it? Because using the repair feature doesn’t fix it.

ParticipantI’ve had this error too. I think the only thing you can do is re-install AIM and DeadAIM. I couldn’t find anything at the JDennis support forums.

MemberIt appears that the most recent discovery I have made is that I can’t minimize AIM at all when DeadAIM is installed. I’ll minimize then immediately get a message saying that some sort of .dll file is missing or the RDBlock can’t be located in the oscres.dll file or something along those lines. I am so lost and now I can’t even install DeadAIM.
