MsnMsn – Have you checked your Hard Drive to ensure there is adequate room to download new files? If your drive is full you will not be able to download files larger that what room you have left. Perhaps some housecleaning is in order? If not, perhaps you are using a computer that has security measures in place such as a firewall which may block certain ports so you cannot recieve files.
As a side note: Please try to use more descriptive Topic titles when posting, this helps members help you more quickly and effectively. Everyone generally needs help when they post. I have taken the liberty of editing your Topic title to a more fitting description. 😀
I’ll add to what Shifter said:
What’s your OS? If you run WinNT4/2000/XP you need to have a user account with administrative privileges (If you don’t need to enter a user name when Windows starts, your logged in as an administrator)
To check your hard disk space; My computer -> Right click on C: -> Properties -> and you should see a pie chart of your C: disk.
