I have Windows XP and my resolution is set pretty high (1280×1024), so I thought I would double the size of my taskbar so I can put icons on the top and then have my programs that I am running show up on the bottom of the bar. But the Start button only stays on the top, I was wondering if there was a way to make the Start button atleast fill up the bottom space, or extend the section that holds the buttons to go to the programs I am running, to underneath the start button. I have included a screen shot of how my taskbar looks so you can understand what I am talking about. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/dougbarrett/toolbar.jpg if you click that. It is just an annoyance to me, and any help would be great. Thanks.
as far as I know, that’s just the way the toolbars work…. the only way you could get it to be on bottom would be to swap the toolbars as a whole, which would just reverse your problem…..
Tigerblade is correct, you cannot make the Start Button larger in this case. It’s just something you’ll have to get used to i’m afraid. 🙂
yeah, haven’t found any skinning device that could make the start button go larger or smaller. But I found some great one’s that can alter the way your desktop looks and even your boot and log-on screen.Quote:quote:Originally posted by astroboy
