MemberIn a week I’ll be traveling down to Myrtle Beach (once again), and this sparked a topic of asking people where they love to vacation/visit. If we had more time and it were up to me I’d be spending all of my time near South Padre Beach, TX (USA). Only party place I’ve found that has alot of quiet spots and beautiful beaches.
There are so many places I’d like to visit.. and of course if anyone would like to fund a trip overseas for me let me know 😉

MemberThe mid coast of New South Wales AUSTRALIA, it is below sub tropical so it doesnt rain thru the summer (up to 40c)….. winters are mild never falling below zero c, the beaches are mostly deserted n around 30 miles long. international tourists are yet to find it so you can eat in a restruant for less than 40 bucks per person including wine (20$ US), the surf is great, the next landfall off the beach is South America, the girls n guys are friendly, you will never be alone cos the natives are friendly, white n speak english . The water is safe to drink n you wont get mugged when yr wallet is in yr hand.
I live there, OK so maybe I’m not the greatest attraction on the coast….. there’s thousands of places all unencumbered by the trappings of commercialism.
Come here to the last safe virgin coastline.

Ah yes, the poor mans vacation spot.[:P]
A couple of my favourite vacation spots are from back when I was just a punk kid. One year the family took a vacation to Florida – Did the DisneyWorld thing and took a Cruise ship over to the Bahama’s and did a bit of parasailing. Another wicked vacation was when I was selected in Junior High to attend an International Junior Art Camp in Sapporo, Japan. That was a blast.
Nowadays, the vacation budget is a bit smaller. This weekend we are going camping in British Columbia. We were initially going to go camp out in the mountains near Jasper, Alberta, but since forest fires are now blazing out of control near that area, we thought it wise to steer clear.

ParticipantI really have a knack for Vieux-Montreal. Especially during the summertime at night, very dreamy.
Although, my ideal vacation is 6 weeks of canoeing on Lake of the Woods (ON, Canada) with someone. Seems though, nobody’s willing to commit to 6 straight weeks of Anna. 😉
