Who is your favourite 90’s “Grunge” Band from this list?
October 3, 2004 at 11:28 pm #83671vikshankerMembergod I love all of those bands. 90’s grunge is my kinda music… even though it isnt the 90’s and people (those “punk skaters”) call me ‘stereotypical, unoriginal, and stupid’ for liking bands like that, saying ‘nirvana sucks’ etc, etc… but I love them all the same.
Pop tart
What’s our mission
Do we know
But never listen
For too long
They held me under
But I hear
It’s almost over
In Detroit
On a Memphis train
Like you said it’s
Down in the heat and the summer rain of
The automatic gauze of your memories
Down in the sleep at the airplane races
Try to hold on
To this heart
A little bit longer
Try to hold on
To this love aloud
Try to hold on
For this heart’s
A little bit colder
Try to hold on
To this love
Paperback scrawl your hidden poems
Written around the dried out flowers
Here we are still trading places
To try to hold onOctober 3, 2004 at 11:49 pm #83670ys8er2323Memberwow that list is so vague, you should make an “other” option for people to vote on.
October 4, 2004 at 1:01 am #83667OreoMemberI couldn’t choose just one. I don’t think it’s vague at all…there are A LOT from which to choose, if one grew up on grunge ONE of these bands is sure to have been a band that pleased you in some way. These are the staples of grunge. It makes me want to run upstairs and find one of my flannels! Ahh…I miss those days of Kurt Cobain in a dress and not knowing what he’d come up with next. :p
October 4, 2004 at 3:04 am #83672vikshankerMemberi just chose ‘all’ because I liked 1/2 of the bands in the list

October 22, 2004 at 3:42 am #83669RabidKittenParticipant*drool* Seriously, how can you say no to grunge rock. It’s like saying no to kick butt 80’s rock and other classic 80’s tunes…so I’m an 80’s fan…so? *turns thriller up all the way with some aerosmith and van halen in the background…then smacks her brothe rup for complaining* Go listen to your emo somewhere else, little boy, tonight is Sam’s night! *rocks out*
November 6, 2004 at 6:20 pm #83668DaJMan1800MemberNirvana rocks, that’s final. If you didn’t already know, they’re putting out a boxset at the end of november, the 23rd to be exact… It’s called “With the Lights Out”
