File-Sharing on msn

I have a question. For some strange reason wenever i try to send files on msn it just stays on the status “connecting…” and after like 3 minutes it says unable to send file to user …….. I know this issue mainly is related to the firewall on my router, even though i turned it off in the settings(dont know whats wrong with it) but the really weird thing is that i can recieve files with no problem. If i can’t send files because of a firewall i should not be able to recieve them either but i can, some1 have ne answer to this? Thnx alot.:confused:

which MSN do you Have??..
Example if you have MSN 6 and your friends have 5 or lower sometimes Can´t MSN Connect to a lower MSN…

msger6 usually sends files regardles of what the other person uses, well i found that. the router in our house blocks us from sending stuff out but when i use msgr v6 it lets it. but using windows mesger, it doenst let me send stuff.
