OK when ever I send or recieve a file my File Transfer box freezes for a long time while the file is going.
When it starts it shows like the time remaining, transfer rate, and etc, and it will just freeze like that for somewherer between like 5 and 15 minutes ad then it will update iutself to new data and then freeze on that info for another 5 to 15 minutes
It doesn’t disrupt the send/download but I mean I’d like to know exactly where my downloads/uploads are.
And yes the “disable Diaglog box when people get files from me” thing is un checked.
It happens to me sometimes to…i think it has to do with the aim version your running. Since 5.2 came out the transfer dialong changed. before u were able to change the download speed from slow, medium or fast. And now with version 5.2 it doesn’t give u that option. so if u have 5.2 and the person your transfering to/from has a lower version…thats whats causes it…i think. Cause with one friend the dialong box works fine amd with another person who has a different version the dialong box keeps freezing. so thats my guess.
