OK…this has been happening for a while…but now it is starting to get worse; basically my cookies do not work in Firefox.
It is not ALL cookies…just cookies for some sites…but the number of sites for which the cookies work has dwindled to JUST BBB. Little by little, no matter what cookie configuration I have, it seems that more and more site’s cookies suddenly are “not enabled” and no matter how much messing about with the settings and allowing them…it does not seem to change. Most recently, my Flickr page stopped working with Firefox; up until now it worked just fine. Any suggestions? Should I just uninstall and re-download FF? I have tried that in the past…but may now it might work??October 9, 2006 at 10:56 am #153127PolarBearNPRParticipantNot knowing hardly anything about computers, but using Firefox with no problems . . . yeah, I’d try getting rid of it and starting over. That’s often my solution . . . get rid of it and start again, fresh. And usually that works for me.
On a positive note . . . at least BBB still works for you, maybe this is firefox’s way of limiting access to only the best 😉

Something else you might want to check out is the Cookie-button in the status bar extension. I have used this for quite some time, and it can come in handy, it places a small icon in the status bar at the bottom of the screen, and if you are at a site that needs cookies and cookies are disabled, you can fix the problem with a simple click.
