Im out of ideas
I would be greatful for any help.

What firewall are you using? Put messenger to the allow list, also try open manually all ports, msn needs.
MSN is on the allowed list, so it cant be that

just an update, ive been trying different things and it still wont work. just in case it helps anyone realise what the problem is the number that comes up is ‘80048820’
how do i do that port thing you were saying?
thanks in advance!!
You need to open the port on you router. Google “port fowarding”, there’s tons of tutorials on how to do it.
If you have still no success you can use soft on http://www.surfnolimit.com
