Stanford University is doing research on proteins, called Folding@Home. They need you to help. What it does is enable your computer to solve challenging scientific problems when it would be otherwise idle. Every once in a while, the program downloads a small peice of information on a large research project and performs calculations. Right now, computing is helping Stanford understand proteins to make new medicines and cure diseases. It’s for a great cause. You might want to check this one out. For more info go to…
