I used the Forgot password tool on Aim.com but the email addresses I have didn’t receive any mail from Aim. The SN I used is very very old so I think I put in an invalid email address and now I cant get the password.
Anyway to find out what email address I used for a SN?
Hmm… if you put in an invalid email address, I doubt there’s a way to get your password back. The only thing I can suggest is do you have any clue what your password was, if so, try some stuff or otherwise just register a new AOL account and get your friends to add you there. 🙁
This is a long-shot (by a backwards approach), but you could logon to AIM (using any screen name) and at the top of your buddylist click on People>find a buddy>by email address, and enter in any email addresses you can recall ever personally using. It doesn’t always work on AIM, and there’s also another program to try. It’s odd, but sometimes AIM and this other program give different results, so I always check both…the other program is “unscanned” made by unsticky. His site is down and I can’t locate the program anywhere. I have it on my storage drive back in Texas but, unfortunately, that specific computer crashed and I haven’t been able to head down there to get the computer running again, or else I’d just FTP it to ya.
I looked for a good hour for unscanned and never found a working download link. If anybody else has it, please post it!
