I noticed some spam on the home page, and Philip had banned the user (thanks Philip,on the ball as usual!). But the announcement was still showing.
Was not sure what to do still learning 😮 Anyway I noticed, Philip had soft deleted. So I went in a did a Perm delete and it went. Had to do it a couple of times as he/she had posted it in Yahoo news and MSN news, but got rid!:)
Sorry but I cannot remember if staff can perm delete or not? If not and you see any can you mail me (sarahtowny@hotmail.co.uk) so I can jump in and sort it out. If you can then you need to perm delete to get rid of spam on the front page.

Oh and would anyone mind if I reset the scores in the Arcade not been done in a while and due to that seems dead? Won’t be around tonight back in the morrow. So enjoy your evening and see ya later!

Sarah xxOh the staff can hard delete any post/thread, and I’ve been trying to nit pick about that for a while now — just be vigaliant about spam being posted on news forums, when you “one-touch ban” the member, make sure to go back and hard-delete the crap in the news forums.
One other note… moderated or soft-deleted posts “show” but only for you (staff members). Regular members don’t see’em.
