I've migrated the BigBlueBall forums from vBulletin to bbPress. As part of the change, you'll (unfortunately) have to reset your password. From the login screen, just click the “forgot password” link and it will be emailed to your registered email address.
If you've got problems with that, let me know.
I will likely be doing some reorganization in here, so excuse the dust in the meantime.
Oh yeah, I've also deleted over 40,000 users in the database who had never posted, replied or contributed. Buh-bye.
Are we not suppose to be able to post if we don't do the “forgot password” link?

That's the general idea. You were able to login with your original password? Interesting…
I was able to login with my original password too.
Testing to see if my account works. I was able to log in fine with my old username and password, I didn't have to request a reset.
I was also able to login with my original password , however the site is ridiculously slow for me.
Thanks for the heads up, Dermot. It's running faster for me. Is there a way you describe what you're experiencing?
The site also appears slow for me, Jeff. Pages are slow to reload.

Philip, can you try running Pingdom and let me know what results you get?
Here's what I got on this page: Load time of https://bigblueball.com/discuss/topic/forums-migrated-and-passwords-reset/ w. Pingdom Tools: 1.83 s from New York City, New York, USA. Size: 843.3 kB. Rqsts: 103. http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/bzZYkD/https://bigblueball.com/discuss/topic/forums-migrated-and-passwords-reset/
Note that the first time I ran this I got over 11 seconds page load. I disabled signatures and now it's down to 1.83 seconds.
EDIT: While the page load went quickly, posting this reply took much longer. I'm looking into that.
