Hi folks
Ive just discovered a licence plate left lying at a roadside in my Industrial estate and im not sure who i should report this to. Do i contact my local paper and ask them to print a small advert in the lost and found section or do i contact the police since they could run a check on the licence number and find out who it is. I know plates can be cheap and i shouldnt bother but i feel this is the right thing to do and return this to its original owner.
I have contacted the garage dealer and informed them about this and waiting for there responce. So does anyone know who to report these things to.
Any advice i will welcome
The DMV?
Or call the cops . . . if this plate was pulled from a stolen car, it might help at least place the car near where the plate was found.
Call the police before anyone else. That’s clearly the proper thing to do, if there is someone better to talk to (The DMV, assuming its not a theft issue), then they’ll direct you.
tape it on your neighbors car over their license plate.
get a ****ty car, stick it on it, and drive er around.
You never cease to amaze me e-.
