Harappa.com is without a doubt one of the best places on the net to read, watch and hear about the facinating history of South Asia(Pakistan, India & Srilanka). This is particularly true for the Raj period, harappa manages to find long forgotten fragments of a era that few amongst us could have know.
And as those people who had lived through those times, slowly attrition, the site finds a space to tell their story, in their own words-plain and simple.
I just love it.
For 2004, they have added an Attia Hosain section- she was apparently a writer of Lucknavi extraction who spent most of her life post ‘47 in London.
There is also an extensive collection of photographs from the Raj, peppered around the site.
