Check out the BigBlueBall AIM links there are many programs for AIM that do message logging.
middle_man and AIMutation to name a couple.Grrrrr, why haven’t any of these addons been upgraded to work with 5.5? They knew it was coming out. Why didn’t they get their hands on a beta copy and start working on it? 🙁

IM Frame http://www.imframe.com (formerly known as A.I.M. Frame) is fully compatible with newest AIM (version 5.5). Granted IM Frame Standard costs $4.99 to continue using after ten (10) day trial period, but it does have message logging and is, unlike other AIM add-ons, fully compatible with AIM 5.5
