No this isn’s a scam, or spam just a few sites to play web based games when you can’t install your own. If you use these at work and get fired don’t come whining to me.

February 17, 2003 at 5:10 am #97987Jeff HesterKeymasterNice list! Maybe we should add these to the links directory, or do a brief review of the good and bad points about each of these sites? You know… what’s the one game that you MUST play on shockwave.com, for example?
Also, how could you forget http://www.zone.com ??? 😉
February 17, 2003 at 5:28 pm #97992FaizanMemberSpider_Man you’ve got one link wrong, its: http://games.yahoo.com/ not http://www.games.yahoo.com
You might want to correct that!

February 17, 2003 at 7:18 pm #97993Spider_manMemberWell Jeff looks like your suggestion about putting ALL of these sites into the Links section is pretty much shot, since it would take AGES to put all of these there.
BTW Thanks for the correction Fazian, it’s been changed.
February 17, 2003 at 9:38 pm #97988twistedmetalMemberDepending on who does it, if you input a few everytime you log on, or the people who found the sites, could, you would be fine.
February 18, 2003 at 12:55 am #97986Jeff HesterKeymasterWhen you enter these or any other links in our links directory, please be descriptive. For example, instead of this:
Yahoo Games
Games from YahooEnter something like this:
Yahoo Games
Use your existing Yahoo account to login and play a ton of games against friends across the globe. They have word, arcade, card, and board games; leagues and tournaments; and now you can “rent” PC games with your broadband connection. Good fun and well-integrated with Yahoo Messenger. This will make it easier for people to choose and understand what is good about one service over another.
February 19, 2003 at 5:36 am #97985Jeff HesterKeymasterI’ve started reviewing and updating the descriptions for the game sites in the links directory. It’s a good way to go, because it shows you which ones are most popular, and gives you a chance to rate them or even provide your own review of the site. Check it out!
