Hexing is Not Hacking!
All it is an editor changing Bytes of information that exsists already.
You cannot add more bytes or you will make the exe invalid.
You cannot Hex edit upx’ed programs or other packed exe’s without unpacking them first.

Thanks Dermot that Hex Editer is a lot better then the one I had.
As Dermot said don’t download if you don’t have any sence of programing. But if you do download, backup file before changing the Hex.
If you do find a program that is packed stop! If I am not mistaken you have to use the same packing software to unpack it.
Don’t confuse Hex editer with Res editer. Res editer is used to change the layout of what you can see when running Yahoo like the menus.

For example To switch between showing nicknames and Im names, or following users both codes are for chat rooms, you can do the following.
MENUITEM “Show &Nicknames”, 642 Under menu # 783
