Alright…every single time I try to sign on to msn messenger, I get a message that says “Sorry, we were unable to sign you into the MSN Messenger at this time. Please try again later.” Well, at the bottom, it says “80072efd”, and next to it there is an option to troubleshoot it, so i click on it. It always has repaired messenger and I have been able to sign in. Today however, I’ve tried to troubleshoot it about 15 times and it never has repaired it. I cannot sign into msn messenger. Can anyone please help me….i’d appreciate it.
I also tried the advice given in another forum on this website about “80072efd” and it didnt work.
You mean you tried this and it didn’t work?
Click Start > Run and type regsvr32 MSXML3.dll
yea…i tried that and it didnt work…but its okay now, i dont know what i did…but this morning when i signed on it worked so thanx anyways…
umm you know princeG advice may have helped aided the fix. to know for sure if it happens again follow the advice he gave you and reboot your system and see if the problem goes away. I say this for future trouble concerning this thread. so others who have this problem don’t over-look some good advice thinking it wont help. and is also something we all should do is after making changes it is always good to reboot your systems because some things will not fully change unless you reboot.
I’m not sure if any advice helped me or anything….but now it works just fine…i think i just had to give it a little time, and since i am so impatient i started to freak out…thank you though…
Well.. i’m having the same problem he was, only mine isn’t, unfortunately, fixing itself.. So could you guys keep this thread going for my sake? Thanx -.-
Edit** This is what i got when i tried to do what princeG had advised..
