Hello all,
I’ve been using Pidgin recently, because of its excellent multi-platform messaging, but was wondering if I could go one step further and do Fring-style VOIP integration? Is there an app that does MSN, Google Talk and Skype together for PC, as Fring does for mobile?
Mike
Unfortunately, not yet, at least as far as I know. As you see with programs like Pidgin and Disgsby, they can usually handle text chat ok, but voip support is more difficult.
Trillian claims to support voice for some networks, but I haven’t ever gotten it to work as well as the native app.
There is nothing for the PC that has voice for all MSN, GT, and Skype on the PC. I believe the people at Digsby might be working on getting voice working in digsby, but as of now there isn’t anything that will do what you want. Digsby does support voice and video (don’t know how well it works) for AIM, MSN, and Yahoo.

It does not. You click a button in the IM window and it sends a link to your chat partner and connects you to a web-based flash voice chat solution. There are plans to actually support it in the future… but as for now it’s just a quick fix.
