Dunno if it’s been discussed here or not b4, but i found out on aim if you are chatting with someone for a while, and they log off, u can warn them up to 35%, and then when they get back online they will be all freaked out thinkin someone hacked their account or somethin. I told my friend about it, and she did it to me one time, made me scratch my head an think for a minute lol.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if your warning level is at 100% you can’t do that at all I think. 🙂

If you get to 100% you can’t do anything, and if u happen to sign off, you won’t be able to log back on the same id for 2,3 maybe 4 days lol. All messengers need this capability, it’s a pretty much harmless way to make annoying people shaddup! If a porn bot msg’s you, if you warn em their level goes up to 100% immediatly, gotta love that. Love it when people bug me on aim lmao.
June 6, 2003 at 8:02 pm #95401DavidParticipantI was at 100% a few weeks ago, I could IM, but the “send level” (That green/yellow/red bar under the Send button) would go into the red and stay there for 20sec, it was VERY annoying! I signed back on the next day and it was 80%.
Why have warnings if you can just block them?
June 7, 2003 at 1:34 am #95399Jeff HesterKeymasterbecuz warnings let them know they should stop blockin is when they wont stop at warnings my friend blocked me cuz i cussed at her cuz she totally dissed my other freind for no reason she made a sn saying that she was a f@g
its also fun to warn urself
please dont think im crazy for thinking sumtin stupid is fun
June 7, 2003 at 1:50 am #95404JohnsonMemberIf you are chatting with someone and they block you, you can still warn them, and it’s not like you can’t get on another id an warn the same person again lmao! Unless they have privacy set, which most people don’t. Warning capability is an asset to any messenger for practical, or impractical uses.

well if you just block them..they may just think that you have signed off and not get the hint that that are pissing you off. if you want to make it clear that they are annoying you and get the message through, warning them is a good way to do it.
