I was thinking about what I wanted in future AIMs and I think it should get a new look, log ims, more smilies, and tabbed IM windows. I was wondering what other people want in the future AIMs to come. Please post.
If u want some of those features, try using AIMutation http://www.aimutation.com/?pid=976 it allows skinning, tabbed windows, and logging.
does it allow AIM Cloneing? Cuz it looks really cool and nice but if it has AIM Cloneing then I’d def. get it ^_^

i had read a while back about a new feature being added to newer versions of AIM where we will be able to view AOL profiles through a feature on AIM. i dont know if that is till an option but it was being talked about at one time..i think that would be great
what is AIM cloning?
AIM Cloning is having duplicate AIM clients running at one time.
i agree with southernsweetheart! coz i would really love to read aol profiles from aim! maybe also you should add that you could view anyones profile (aim or aol) even if they are offline! there should be a little notification at the top that says the person if offline though…and i also have yahoo…if you send a person a message while theyre offline…they will receive the message when they come on! i think that is pretty nifty and someone should add this stuff to newer versions of aim!
I doubt AOL Will add Offline messages and the ability to view profiles when a user is offline because:
1) That would take up WAAAAAY too much server space.
2) There are thousands of registered screen names and many of the offline messages and profiles would just sit there and not use read.
