I have AOL IM 5.2.3292 and InstantIdler 5.2.
I want to use Gaim do you know if it works with Instant idler or not?
Or is there a way of being idle (fake) by using Gaim?
Thanks,
Melis
Nope, sorry, the InstantIdler will not work with Gaim. Luckily, I believe there is an option in Gaim that allows you to set your idle time.
P.S. — Switching to Gaim is a smart decision 😉
Thanks for the answer, I will download Gaim right now:)

where can i get gaim i searched google but nothing came up
Yes Gaim does have a plugin included in the install. Goto Tools, Preferences, Plugins, and check I’dle Maker. Thats all there is too it basically.
Gaim can be found at http://gaim.sourceforge.net

You can get GAim here at its SourceForge homepage… the only thing thats not that good about it is that it overrides your profile, but then again, it is open source 😉
I installed it but as I am using HTTPS proxy (It can’t establish connection without it ) to sign on AOL IM and ICQ, I couldn’t become online because it doesn’t have HTTPS choice in the proxy preferences.
