Okay, theres all those patches for games out there but they are exclusively for msn 6.0.0250. I’ve been lookin for a workin version for 6.0.0256 but can’t seem to finfd one. Any Help?
If you cannot get any of the game to work… wait until the 17th when the full release comes out. It aint that long. Its less than a week. 😉
Ruffdawg there is a patch at http://www.mess.be that will work for all Beta Versions.
The MSN Messenger 6.x BETA Generic Patch
Its Description is as follows:
– Removes banners from the program
– Removes the “BETA” in the title
– Enables Games
– Enables multiple instances of MSN
– Disables the ‘User is typing’ messageIt should work with all beta versions, patched or not.
Detn8r I believe the release date for the official version is not until July 17th, 2003 making it a little over a month away. It would be nice if it came out next week though.
Thanks for the help everyone but the link that was provided didn’t work. It just brought me back to the Mess.be’s homepage. I’ll kep looking though. If nothing turns up, I’ll stick with 6.0.0250
Ruff, it’s there on the mess.be site. Go to the MSN 6.0 downloads, and look for the patch that Shifter described (it says GENERIC patch). I know it works.
Games are gradually becoming activated worldwide. In Belgium, WHERE I LIVE (just countering some rumours here ;)), I can play Bejeweled, Minesweeper Flags, etc. without any patch… Which is a bad thing because I should rather study for my exams.
Thx, guys! I found the working patchthat you were talkin about and it works great! I am now currently running Msn Messenger 6.0.0263 and the patch contiues to work. Thank you guyz for all your help!
