Alright. I was browsing Staples and saw a headset next to the webcams. Since I didn’t need a webcam, but thought a headset would be cool, I got it.
LIttle did I know, it was really for coordless phones. So now instead of doing Voip with my friends, i’m searching for a plughole in our coordless phone (how did I know, doesn’t have one)
Anyways, is there any way to the AT&T model EH530 to work for my PC? All I know about my speakers is they’re made by Inland and it says “Pro Sound 2000”
Most PCs use 3.5 mm jacks for Microphones, if I am not mistaken. So unless I am wrong then I suggest taking it back and returning for a made-for-computer headset. Be sure to check out logitec, they have some nice ones.
I’d recommend the headset I use at home. It’s a Logitech Internet Chat Headset, and it’s really easy to use. It has the 1/8″ jacks that ShadowdogMU here was talking about, there’s no software (it works with your current sound card, just so long as you have green and pink jacks on the back of it), and it has streetstyle headphones which are confortable and look cool :p
