MemberHi all!
I’m from the USA, and I’m on yahoo chat. 2 or 3 times aweek I get PMed by some girl who first asks asl (my profile is filled out with this info). Then, she gives her asl (27 f Ghana / their profile is blank). After a brief conversation. She will then ask if I am married, have kids, etc. (I’m not married, & don’t have kids). After that I get a “Wow, I LOVE you! And I want to come over and marry you and have your kids!”; Of course I’m like: “Errr, ahhhh, that’s rather sudden, don’t you think that we should get to know each other first?”
I seem to be in ‘demand’ with the chicks from Africa.
Is this a scam to get money? Or is it a scam to gain entry into the USA? Is there anyone else getting these type of IMs? From the US or any where else? UK? Australia? Canada? NZ? EU?

MemberUm, I think they are just “fooling around” with you… Just click the ever wonderful and powerful IGNORE/BLOCK button and everything will be fine. 😀

MemberSometimes it actually IS a scam to get a greencard (here in the US) or entry into another country as a citizen or potential citizen. I used to get all sorts of odd requests from other countries. Ahh, the Internet…bringing people closer together and scammers all sorts of new prey. Have fun with it…but don’t go too far or you might have a new buddy at your doorstep before you know it demanding marriage!

MemberI mean she/he who ever she is pretending or really is doesn’t know you and has never seen your picture never met you or anything. So how do they know there in love with you? And want to marry you?
