when i talk or when someone ims me i get his message and it kicks me off. the message says something about run time error and it shows the location of aim and closes.

Evan, run-time errors basically mean that a program on your computer tried to do something that isn’t possible. For example, it could try open a file that doesn’t exist, try to access memory that isn’t there, do a calculation that is invalid (devision by zero), and much, much more.
Keeping a long story short, your problem can really be caused by anything. Your only way to fix this problem is to expriment with different settings and/or backtrack what you did before the problem appeared. As a last solution, you can always completely re-install your Operating System.
October 3, 2003 at 4:55 pm #55746alana0601Participantevan i had the same problem. its completely fixed now that i have talked to Restricted Rappa on AIM. hetold me stuff to do to fool around with aim and somehow it worked. so IM him if you want and he may be able to help you. he has many ideas.
