I have known my best mate for about 12 years now, and for the first time ever we had a misunderstanding, I felt we were not talking like we used to and seeing each other as much as we used to.
So, I rocked the boat which is unlike me, I felt i did not want to loose her and so I had to speak out and ask her why. After that conversation, I went to see her yesterday, she poured me a glass of wine and said this was a dedication to me, she said she had missed me and felt like I had left her out also, so it was indeed a big misunderstanding, and asked me to forgive her. She then played me this song… how could I resist! After that it was a big cuddle and all was well with the world 🙂

Music is the food of life and now this song will always mean the world to me, what songs do you listen to that is not just a song they remind you of a special moment in time ……

Well, the main title theme from Star Trek: Generations doesn’t actually evoke a special moment in time for me, but it does uplift me. This is music which is inspiring and always leaves me with a feeling of hope…the movie came out in 1994 and showcased Captain Kirk and Picard meeting up in the Nexus, a space-time continuum where one can go backwards or forward in time. I’d love to be in the Nexus!
Kudos to Dennis McCarthy, the composer. This is my fave among all the ST themes.
