Remember how in AIM 5.9 you could hide all IM windows, disable notification popups, and disable sounds when you went away? Does AOL plan to include this into Triton? I would like to be able to disable popup notifications when I’m away, and hide the IM windows without having to close them. I can’t seem to be able to do this anymore with AIM Triton. You have to physically close the windows, and the IM catcher still pops up if someone IM’s u while you’re away. And, if you read the message, you can’t “put it back” into the Catcher, you have to leave it open or close it. I find this annoying. I’d like to be able to keep my IM messages without having to close them, so I can resume when I come back. Also, sometimes when I go away it’s to stop the “AIM distraction” when I”m on the computer and I don’t want to go to Settings each time i go away to disable popups when I don’t want them. Anybody know anything about this…and whether it will be incorporated in the future..?
Well I think AOL is not planning to do that anymore because I myself have Triton and I can’t seem to find that feature anywhere in the settings.
