Does anyone know what causes this or know if you can stop this form happening? It would be nice to stay logged in with an away message up without having my computer at full attention. Thanks.
use a screen-saver. or use aimoffline or something like that.
I believe the reason it signs you off AIM is because when your computer is put on standby, your hard drive is turned off.
If you don’t care about leaving your PC on without standby, you can change the settings under the Screen Saver tab under “Power” in the Display settings.
