Utterly asinine! Any person (or company) sitting on their brains would look at the situation this way: There is fierce competition among instant messaging (ICQ, YAHOO, MSN), and ANY person that builds a program like bigblueball smiler would be INVALUABLE, in the way that it would **PROMOTE** use of THEIR IM program!
I think we should all send letters to the attorney that wrote the letter, and carbon copy it to the dip$hits at AOL.
At this point, I am going to consider ERASING AIM from my computer and switching back to either MSN, or Yahoo Messenger. They offer VIDEO CAMS, and have a hell of a lot more smileys.
Shame on AOL. Ignorant and pathetic.

That’s very bizarre. I compared the 2, & it’s exactly the same. I copied & pasted the darn thing when I posted it.

Otherwise, just type it without clicking on it & mayber that will work.That one doesn’t work either. Hyperlink that is, but if you type it in, it works fine, either one of them. Bothersome but not a big deal I guess.

I was wondering how to use the codes provided for AOLIM smiley faces. I tried just typing them in and it didn’t work. Where do i enter the codes at? Or do I need the smiler thing? Also I noticed that a lot of people were mad about loosing this smiler thing……I have an idea. Kazaa does a lot of file sharing and maybe someone will the install file could put the install file onto kazaa and then people can still get it but aol wouldn’t have to know about it. Just an idea.
