ok guys I know of a few other sites that are still running the smilies. not to point fingers, cause I know aol has suites scowering the net for all the stuff they don’t like. But to be brutally honest big blue ball has gotten way too much sh*t from them of recent. So here are some sites. I know http://www.awaybox.comis still doing the whole smilie thing, I think http://www.aimfilez.com had one, I have gone and preservered a copy on my college storage, along with a message for aol http://portfolio.iu.edu/jopricha/smilies.html

ps sorry for the slow times, I put it on my college site not mine for bandwidth purposes, (they don’t track it) and it is a huge picture so please be patient. 🙂:(ARGHHHH! NOOOOOOO!
At least I still have the ‘AIM Smiler‘ program I never deleted.
If anyone saved the HTML/JS/GIFs from Smiler, let me know where to get it!

if u want the new aol smilies u could use the program at http://users.mnemonic.net/freeezer/programs.html, i use it 🙂
but if ur using deadaim tabs, the tabs will hide the smilie select menu :(, so to change smilies u gotta turn tabs off and open a new message window for the smilie menu to be displayed
