I know we have webmasters out there with vBulletin forums, so I wanted to share my latest project with you.

That will add GT functionality to any vBulletin 3.0.x board, we are also working on converting that code to vBulletin 3.5.x. Try it out, reply, tell me if it works, and if you like it or not!
Thank you for the Gmail, I just got Google Talk, I didn’t have a Gmail account, I tried to do the text message over the phone, they never replyed (figures).

You have written a modification that adds the dialog to display Gmail address of the person in his profile right?You can edit the HTML in the popup and it adds a GT icon in three places next to the other four IM client icons on your board.
This mod is now a fully supported release.

I’ve implemented Spike’s great Google Talk mod here at BigBlueBall! Now you can add your Google Talk username to your BigBlueBall profile. The Google Talk icon will appear next to the other IM icons, and if someone clicks it, they get instructions on how to add you to their Friends list.
In my info area, you’ll see it just to the right of the Yahoo icon, or in my profile, just beneath the other IM icons.

Has Google opened up their API to allow scripting on the web page to automatically add someone to your Google Talk friend list or open up an IM window to them? That would be pretty cool but I don’t know if Google is allowing this yet.
