hey i tryed to remove gta vice but i didnt work and i tryed to install it again but it says finished matinince (dont know if thats the right spelling)
im running windows xpwhoa….whats your problem? I can barely understand what you’re typing.
you couldn’t un-install the game and now you can’t install it?
did you un-install it correctly, or did you just delete the files?

it’s always a good idea to actually uninstall the program…that deletes all of the files that the game installs onto your computer, insuring no mistakes. most programs should have an un-install file somewhere.
Finished matience, probably meaning, you corrected any problems it may of had. If this is what it means, the game should be reinstalled. Now go to start>>settings>>control panel>>add/remove. Remove the game.

This won’t help him as he removed the GTA: Vice City files from his computer and the uninstall program will be corrupted or not found.
LittleShorty: Your best bet is to restart your computer and try installing the game again, if this succeeds then follow detn8r’s advice and remove the game that way. By doing so it will remove the game from the registry as well as delete any files that it can. Once the uninstall program is completed you can go ahead and delete any left over files from the game.

true i suppose but it still fun playing once in a while just to see how long you can survive when the army comes after you. also, ive completed it and am only on about 50%. theres a lot of secret stuff to find.
And if you have Norton WINdoctor make sure you run that, It will fix any problems that are caused by deleting programs without using a uninstallation tool.
