I know alot of people are huge fans of Half-Life and have probably heard how great Half-Life 2 is supposed to be. If you haven’t bought the game already, Valve just released a 700MB demo.
A few sites you can get it from:
(both of these have download managers so you can pause and resume the download, but may have a long wait in line before you can start your download)
http://www.fileplanet.com/files/140000/148742.shtml
http://www.gamedaily.com/gp/dlexe.asp?packageid=0078700040&gameid=(Almost no line, but no download manager)

The game will run nicely on 512MB of RAM with a ATI 700 on 800X600. It’s nice. Go and try…
February 15, 2005 at 2:16 am #109542DrBroccoliParticipantso maybe its been awhile but all those sites are horrible slow, I went to all them and only got like 200kb/s I went to http://www.ati.com/gitg/promotions/halflife2demo/ to get about 600kb/s with no waiting

I’m surpised you got only 200kb/s on FilePlanet, but the other ones are understandable. And of course you got 600kb/s. It’s ATI.com, and ATI owns all. 😉
