Yes, I know there was a previous topic about this before. But I’d like to start a new and fresh one since there is a new movie and the new book is soon to be out.
The new fifth book is said to be out in stores on June 21, 2002. And the second movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, is still in theaters.
I’d like to know everyones opinion on Harry Potter. Detailed and explained, please no 5 worded posts. Let’s make this a good topic.
Personally, in my opinion, Harry Potter does have some acts that are said to be of the devils in the Bible, but really you all must remember it is a book of entertainment not meant to teach children mystical powers.
I heard on a news report that Harry Potter is said to be from some Churchs, displaying the powers of a Jesus. I think that is very incorrect, as it all is a magical world and Jesus would be much higher than these people.
I also think the series is great. J.K. Rowling put some great thought and time into this book and it really gets you thinking, a very good page turner. I love the series, and can’t wait for the fifth one, I’ve read them all. What do you think?
The ideas Rowling put into the books are outstanding, she thought through every detail to make sure everything was right. I praise her and her writing.
Give me your opinions on the books and movies. Let your replys be detailed and explained… let me warn you now, any posts which are less than 5 words will be deleted. So let’s hear it!

I will see the second movie when it comes out on DVD. I view these movies as “just fun”. And I feel that some make such a big deal out of whats “Real” and “Fantasy”. What about Star Wars?…Star Trek?…Lord of the Rings?…Come on folks…don’t we know the difference?…:D

I would definately recommend you seeing the second or even both if you are that deprived to have not seen them!

I already have ’em all up here.1.) Yes. Dobby suffered extensive head n’ neck injuries after the production of Harry Potter n’ the Chamber of Secrets. Dobby was rushed to hospital immediately for severe whiplash after displaying acts of self-discipline involving his forehead n’ large household objects.
2.) Ron Weasley failed drivers-ed 14 times n’ is currently enrolled for the 15th time.
3.) Professor Severus Snape continues his silent protest against TIDE n’ all other washing detergents. He has still not changed cloaks in 10 years.
4.) Hedwig (Harry Potter’s Owl) isn’t real. It’s a stuffed imitation hanging on fish-line. Hence the stiff movements while flying…
5.) Fluffy (Hagrid’s three-headed dog) was unfortunatley put down after the production of Harry Potter n’ the Sorcerer’s Stone. Fluffy apparently found make-up artist a tasty treat for inbetween shooting scenes.February 5, 2003 at 2:01 am #65028Mr. DiablosMemberI got inside tips at a bookstore, the 5th book is supposedly called Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
